The material is very thick and the whole sound is pretty dry.
This uke has enough volume.So I think it is adaquate to stroke-break.In Hawaii that company sells a DX-type, made with selected material.But it seems the company does not export this thpe.The sound is really hawaiian.
I advise this uke to stroke players.
